Digital Marketing Apprentice was launched in 2014 to supporting aspiring young talent through their digital apprenticeships. The apprenticeship qualification is aimed at learners entering the Digital Marketing sector as well as those already working in these areas who are looking to renew their skills with formal training.
Digital Marketing is the use of digital media to attract and engage with current and potential customers, for example online advertising, email marketing, and search engine optimisation. The rich data generated allows for granular analysis of what has worked, demanding analytical and creative skills above those demanded in traditional marketing and advertising.
Apprentices on this pathway will study for a Diploma in Digital Marketing. This qualification was developed by City and Guilds in association with Agilisys Arch who consulted widely with the industry and employers to inform the qualification’s development.
The Digital Marketing Apprenticeship provides young people with an alternative route to gain the talent, experience and qualifications in a sector that traditionally relies on graduate recruitment.
